Web Site Updating!
As many of you already know, my wife Andrea due to an unsuccessful leg by pass operation, has had to have her right leg amputaed below the knee. The good news is, she is recovering very well in hospital and is liable to be there for quite a few weeks rehabilitation.
This has put extra household duties on my self and have already discovered how the Dyson works and how to operate the Washing Machine. As far as ironing is concerned, I am getting by, by making sure that the wet washing is reasonabbly crease free, before hanging out to dry. Cooking I am ok, with the odd visit to the chippy & Chinese take away, when I can't be bothered, but I won't starve.
I will also have my work cut out when Andrea returns home, as she won't be able to manage like she has in the past. This will cut my EWR hours quite drastically and I will do all I can to ensure that you are all kept updated as before. There may however be times when the latest report is a bit later than normal, but I am sure that you will all bear with me under the circumstances.
Andrea & I would like to thank all the members of the EWR for their kind condolences, cards, flowers and support through the last few weeks. You are all a geat bunch of guys & gals and Andrea & I are proud to be part of you all. Once Andrea is able to get out and about, she will come and see you all. Meantime, I am looking for a steam driven wheelchair that can be adapted to 7 1/4 gauge, or one that I can tow behind Dragonfly.
