STANDARD GAUGE WEEKEND
Sat/Sun 12th/13th September 2009
Once again, the EWR held it's Standard Gauge Weekend, which attracted many steam locos from all parts of the UK. Some of the visiting locos have run before at the EWR, but there were one or two first timers appearing this weekend. The weather could'nt have been better, although Sunday was a bit more cloudy that Saturday. However, the main thing was that it was dry and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Those coming on Saturday or staying the weekend, were treated to a Fish & chip supper on Saturday evening at the well known Cafe' de Echills.
